The Garda cycle path
A must see
This spectacular stretch of cycle path is found in Limone sul Garda, a small village on the Brescia side of Lake Garda, just a few kilometers from our residence. It is one of the first sections of a project that will see the birth of the largest cycle path in Europe, which will connect 19 locations on the lake, allowing cyclists to circumnavigate the largest lake in Italy on two wheels. The cycle path is actually a path that can also be appreciated on foot, and is also suitable for strollers. It extends for about two and a half kilometers and literally hangs over the water. We advise you to take it starting from the center of Limone, parking near the promenade is not easy. There are no refreshment points or public toilets along the route and it is not shaded. It is always accessible, even at night, thanks to the lighting.
